MediAlly is a multi-platform medication management app designed to help you track medications, set reminders, and manage your health across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. It combines powerful medication tracking with an intuitive, Apple-native design.
MediAlly requires iOS 17.0 or later for iPhone and iPad, macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later for Mac, and watchOS 10.0 or later for Apple Watch. We take full advantage of the latest Apple platform features including SwiftData and the new SwiftUI APIs.
Yes, MediAlly is free to download and use. The core features including medication tracking, reminders, and basic stock management are available at no cost. An optional Pro subscription unlocks advanced features like unlimited OCR scanning, AI-powered recommendations, and premium themes.
You can add medications in two ways: manually enter the medication details including name, dosage, and schedule, or use the camera OCR feature to scan a medication label or prescription. The OCR automatically extracts key information for quick setup.
MediAlly supports five reminder modes: Daily (one or more times per day), Cycle-based (every N days), Weekly (specific days of the week), Interval (custom day intervals), and As-needed (on-demand without fixed schedule). Each medication can have its own reminder schedule.
Yes. MediAlly includes stock tracking with quantity management. You will receive low stock alerts when your medication supply runs low and expiration alerts when medications approach their expiry date. This helps ensure you never run out of important medications.
MediAlly uses CloudKit to automatically sync your data across all your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account. Your data is stored in a private database ensuring only you can access it. Sync happens seamlessly in the background whenever you have an internet connection.
Yes. MediAlly supports data sharing via CloudKit CKShare. You can selectively share specific medication records with family members or caregivers. The recipient will need MediAlly installed on their device to view shared data, and they can accept the share invitation through the app.
MediAlly Pro unlocks unlimited OCR medication scans, AI-powered adaptive recommendations, multi-language medication translations, premium app themes, and priority customer support. Pro subscribers also get access to advanced analytics for medication adherence patterns.
You can manage or cancel your MediAlly Pro subscription at any time through iOS Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > MediAlly. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time.
Absolutely. Your data is stored locally using SwiftData and synced via CloudKit end-to-end encrypted by Apple. MediAlly does not use any third-party servers or analytics. All processing happens on-device, and your health information never leaves Apple's secure infrastructure.
Yes. MediAlly provides full functionality offline. You can view medications, log intakes, receive local notifications, and manage your stock without an internet connection. Any changes you make offline will automatically sync to your other devices once you reconnect.
